Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Mirame360's 360° video platform

What 360° file formats does Mirame360 support?

Mirame360 accepts equirectangular 360° video in MP4, MOV, or WEBM plus panoramic photos in JPEG, PNG, or WebP. Keep exports in a 2:1 aspect ratio for accurate stitching and playback.

Is there a file size limit for uploads?

Uploads of several gigabytes are typical; Mirame360 currently accepts files up to roughly 10 GB per upload. For larger sources, trim before upload or split into manageable segments so encoding can start reliably.

How long does processing take after I upload?

Short clips usually finish encoding within a few minutes, while longer or higher-resolution files scale with duration and bitrate. Encoding produces multiple renditions so adaptive playback stays smooth on varied networks.

Which codecs and projections work best?

Use H.264 or H.265 in equirectangular projection at a 2:1 frame to ensure viewers and WebGL pipelines interpret the scene correctly. Avoid non-360 projections and verify metadata before upload.

How does Mirame360 prepare media for playback?

Uploaded files are validated, then encoded into multiple bitrates for desktop and mobile playback. Outputs are packaged for CDN-friendly delivery and embedded via iframes without extra player setup.

Can I embed Mirame360 on my own site?

Yes. Each processed item provides an iframe embed you can paste into websites, blogs, or apps. Embeds are private by default and only become publicly reachable when you explicitly enable public embed visibility.

Are my files private by default?

Yes. New media and tours are private by default for embed delivery. If public embed visibility is disabled, visitors cannot open the embed URL, while the owner can still preview while logged in.

Can people from outside my team or country access private embeds?

Not unless you intentionally make the embed public. Private embeds require owner access in the platform, so unknown visitors cannot load the player just by discovering a link.

Does Mirame360 support 360° photos as well as video?

Yes. Panoramic photos in JPEG, PNG, or WebP are hosted alongside video and rendered in the same immersive viewer for consistent embeds.

How is Mirame360 priced?

[Insert pricing: $X/month]. Check your plan for upload size, storage, and bandwidth allocations, as these determine how many large 360° files you can host.

How does Mirame360 compare to YouTube 360?

YouTube 360 targets public discovery, while Mirame360 focuses on controlled hosting, white-label embeds, and CDN delivery for owned sites. Use Mirame360 when you need consistent embeds without external branding.

What metrics can I expect to see?

View counts and engagement indicators are available so you can track how often your 360° media is played. Use these metrics to gauge performance across embeds on different sites.
