How to Make Your 360° Paper Ornament
- 1. Print at 100% Scale
Download the 3-page PDF and print it on A4 paper. Select "Actual Size" or 100% (not "Fit to Page") so the sphere comes out at about 9 cm.
- 2. Cut Out 2 Flower Nets
Cut around the outer silhouette of the North and South flower nets. Score and fold internal dashed lines.
- 3. Form Domes & Join
Fold each side tab inward, apply glue, and tuck it under the adjacent petal while curling both flower nets into domes. Then join the hemispheres at the equator rim.

How do I assemble the paper ornament?
Print the generated PDF on standard A4 paper at 100% scale. Cut out the 2 connected flower net pieces, score the dashed lines, and fold every side tab inward. Curl the petals upward, apply glue to each side tab, tuck it under the adjacent petal, then join the two completed domes at the equator rim.
Does this tool upload my photo to a server?
No. All image pixel processing, trigonometry remapping, and PDF building run entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly and Web Workers. Your photo is never uploaded anywhere.
What image formats and aspect ratios are supported?
The generator accepts JPEG, PNG, and WebP panoramic photos. An equirectangular 2:1 aspect ratio photo yields the best results. Photos with other aspect ratios will be center-cropped to 2:1 automatically.
What size paper should I use for printing?
The output PDF is formatted for standard A4 paper. Be sure to select "Actual Size" or 100% scale in your printer dialog (do not select "Fit to Page") so the finished ornament prints accurately.
How big is the finished ornament, and what is in the PDF?
The PDF has 3 A4 pages: one for the north flower net, one for the south flower net, and one with assembly instructions. Printed at 100%, the finished sphere is designed to be about 9 cm (90 mm) across. Any other print scale changes that size.
Is it only for Christmas?
No. It is designed as a Christmas ornament, but any 360° photo works, so it is just as suitable as a keepsake of a trip, a wedding, or a favorite place. Use paper that suits the purpose; a heavier paper holds its shape better than office paper.
Do I need a Mirame360 account?
No. Creating, viewing, and downloading ornament templates is 100% free and does not require an account. You can create an account if you want to host and share interactive 360° photos on the web.
