Mirame360 update

Meet the New Mirame360 360° Photo Editor

Mirame360 now has a free 360° photo editor. Adjust light and color, retouch parts of a panorama, soften the tripod area and add your own graphics, right in your browser.

Open the 360° Photo Editor on a desktop or laptop, choose a photo and start editing. You don't need an account, and the public editor processes your photo on your device rather than uploading it to a server.

A few finishing touches before you share

Sometimes a panorama only needs a little work: a room feels too dark, the colors look cold, or the tripod draws your eye when you look down. The new editor gives you a place to make those changes while looking around the photo in 360°.

There are four tool panels:

  • Filters: adjust exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, color temperature and saturation, along with detail and sharpness controls. Quick presets include Vivid, Warm, Interior, Real estate and B&W. You can also level a tilted horizon with the roll control.
  • Brush: paint a color onto part of the scene, lighten or darken an area, or increase or reduce its saturation. Adjust the brush size, edge hardness and strength to suit the change.
  • Images: add a logo or another image, including a transparent PNG. Move, resize and rotate it in the panorama, adjust its opacity, or replace it while keeping its position.
  • Nadir: blur the bottom of the panorama where a tripod may be visible. Change the radius, opacity and edge softness to blend the patch into your photo.

Nadir blur softens that area; it doesn't reconstruct the floor underneath the tripod. For a small finishing touch, you can see the effect immediately by looking down in the viewer.

Look around while you work

Drag to explore the scene and scroll to zoom. When you're using the Brush, left-drag paints and right-drag lets you look around without adding a stroke.

Hold Before/After to see the original photo, or use Undo and Redo to try a different approach. A short guide appears when you open a photo, and you can bring it back with Help whenever you need it.

Your source file stays intact while you edit. When you're happy with the result, Download 360 photo saves a new JPEG at the original image dimensions, with the panorama metadata needed by compatible 360 viewers. Keep the window open while a large photo exports.

Start with an exported panorama

The editor accepts JPEG, PNG and WebP photos containing a full equirectangular panorama: the familiar rectangular image with a 2:1 width-to-height ratio. If your camera capture still needs stitching or conversion, export the finished panoramic photo from your camera software first.

The editor currently works on desktop and laptop screens with a mouse. Phones, tablets and small windows show a notice asking you to open it on desktop. Larger photos also need more memory and can take longer to load or download.

Already have a photo on Mirame360?

Owners can also open a ready 360° image from My Media and choose Edit 360 photo. From there, download an edited copy or use Save and replace to update the hosted photo after processing and review. Replacement keeps the same media identity, links, tour connections and hotspots. Saving a replacement uploads the edited photo; the standalone public editor's local download workflow does not.

For your first try, pick a panorama you already like and make one small change. Open the Photo Editor, adjust the light, compare it with the original and download your result. If you'd like to share it in an interactive viewer afterwards, create a Mirame360 account and upload the finished photo.
